Coming off the new Crown The Empire EP coming out close to summer 2011. I’ll post the album art and the name soon, if I’m feeling the love.

Music so far…
So I’ve decided that my music collection has gotten pretty monogamous. Music is everything to me, and if my collection is getting stale, my life is getting just as black and white. Which is why I’m asking for the help of the internet! Tell me what some of your favorite bands/songs are that you think I may never have heard of. I really want to get that kid in a candy shop feeling back when I discover some new music, so think really hard and write on my twitter. I promise I’ll write back what I think!

What we’re up to…
So I know that when I don’t see a band either releasing a new song, or starting a world tour, I think they’re in the process of washing up or breaking up. So i thought I’d give you a detailed update on what I’ve been doing everyday since we just ended our month long Slow Motion tour with Eye Alaska and Rookie of the Year. So we got home and the only thing that was on my mind was Sleep, Time away from the other guys in the band, and seeing all of my family and friends. Sleep is taken for granted when you’re at home and not on the road. 6-8 hours of sleep is a rarity and a blessing when you’re on the road. We look at getting 4-6 everyday to allot the proper amount of cushion for our 3-8 hour drives from city to city everyday. So sleep is definitely a number one on the list. Now when I say time apart I don’t mean that in a bad way. I love all of my boys in the band, and we really are all best friends. However, people don’t realize what it’s like to live in those close quarters, so time apart is essential haha. And of course I’m huge on family and friends so I take as much time as I can to hang out with my really good friends Nick, Ian, Rachel, Becca, Lori, and Veronica. Now as far as the band…..
After a few needed days off we’re all back together working on our two new singles. You’ll be hearing these all summer long on the Vans warped tour, and the singles will be available this summer on iTunes. The songs are ‘This Gravity’ and ‘Ammunition’. We’ve been at A.J.’s house every day trying out new ideas and feels for the song, looking to make these the best songs we’ve released yet. To be honest I actually love both of these 10,000 times more than our entire EP ‘Play With Fire Get Burned’ even though I think those songs are great as well. The new singles are more developed, and have more of a feel to them. The melodies are simple and catchy, and we’re definitely up-ing the maturity aspect of the songs in the production. We leave at the end of may for LA to record for a week, and then we will be hitting the road starting July 20th on the Warped Tour promoting the new jams! I’m really excited for you guys to hear This Gravity and Ammunition, and of course I will be updating the Blog constantly with details, and insider info from the studio.
